Delaware High School Soccer - ASPIRA Charter toppled by Sussex Central
April 4, 2025: Newark, DE 19713 Sussex Central Golden Knights (Georgetown, DE) boosters exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host ASPIRA Charter Wolves (Newark, DE), 6-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Sussex Central moves its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Golden Knights host Woodbridge (Bridgeville, DE) to clash with the Raiders in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 8. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 0-3. Woodbridge lost 4-0 in their recent league test against Sussex Academy (Georgetown, DE)
The Wolves now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Red Lion Christian Academy for a Freelance test on Monday, April 7. ASPIRA Charter will clash with a Lions team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Lake Forest (Felton, DE). The Lions record now stands at 4-1.
