North Carolina High School Soccer - Westover toppled by Overhills
April 4, 2025: Spring Lake, NC 28390 Overhills Jaguars (Spring Lake, NC) boosters exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Westover Wolverines (Fayetteville, NC), 5-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Overhills moves its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Pine Forest (Fayetteville, NC) to clash with the Trojans in a All American 3A/4A test on Tuesday, April 8. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 13-0. Pine Forest won 5-0 in their recent league test against Triton (Erwin, NC)
The Wolverines now sport a 0-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Terry Sanford for a All American 3A/4A test on Tuesday, April 8. Westover will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 5-0 league win over Western Harnett (Lillington, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-3.
