In Friday's non-league game, the host Newton-Conover Red Devils baseball team scored a nice 13-5 win over the West Lincoln Rebels.

The Red Devils (8-2) will now prepare for their game against Bandys (Catawba, NC). The Trojans go into the game with a 6-3 record. In their last game, Bandys was overwhelmed by Maiden (Maiden, NC), 4-0, in a non-league game.
