Delaware High School Softball - Middletown drops to Polytech
April 4, 2025: Woodside, DE 19980 Polytech Panthers (Woodside, DE) supporters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Middletown Islanders (Middletown, RI), 17-1 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Polytech improves its record to 2-1 on the year. The Panthers travel to Delmar (Delmar, DE) to play the Wildcats in a non-league game on Monday, April 7. The Wildcats enter the game with a record of 0-0.
The Islanders now hold a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Hodgson Vo-Tech for a non-league game on Monday, April 7. Middletown will play a Eagles squad coming off a 16-3 non-league win over Howard (Wilmington, DE). The Eagles record now stands at 1-0.
