Iowa High School Soccer - Ankeny Christian Academy nudged by Dowling Catholic
April 4, 2025: Ankeny, IA 50023 Dowling Catholic Maroons (West Des Moines, IA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Ankeny Christian Academy (Ankeny, IA), 4-3 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Dowling Catholic moves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Maroons travel to Urbandale (Urbandale, IA) to clash with the J-Hawks in a CIML test on Monday, April 7. The J-Hawks come into the test with a record of 1-0. Urbandale won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Prairie (Cedar Rapids, IA)
The now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Valley for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 8. Ankeny Christian Academy will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Iowa City West (Iowa City, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-2.
