April 4, 2025: Homewood, AL 35209 Homewood Patriots (Homewood, AL) backers exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting John Carroll Catholic Cavaliers (Birmingham, AL), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Homewood advances its record to 18-2 on the campaign. The Patriots host Minor (Adamsville, AL) to clash with the Tigers in a 6A Area 9 test on Tuesday, April 8. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 2-8. Minor lost 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Bessemer City (Bessemer, AL)
The Cavaliers now have a 10-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ramsay for a 5A Area 9 test on Monday, April 7. John Carroll Catholic will clash with a Rams team coming off a 1-1 non-league Jackson-Olin (Birmingham, AL). The Rams record now stands at 0-5.
