Dale County Warriors (Midland City, AL) supporters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Straughn Tigers (Andalusia, AL), 2-0 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Dale County improves its record to 17-8 on the year. The Warriors travel to Pike Road (Pike Road, AL) to face the Patriots in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 8. The Patriots enter the game with a record of 11-18. Pike Road won 15-7 in their recent league game against Russell County (Seale, AL)
