The Ridgecroft Rams softball squad (Ahoskie, NC), was routed 11-1 in Friday's non-league contest with the visiting Halifax Academy Vikings (Roanoke Rapids, NC)

With the triumph, Halifax Academy improves its record to 6-8 on the year. The Vikings travel to Faith Christian (Rocky Mount, NC) to face the Patriots in a NCISAA Carolina Independent 2A/1A contest on Tuesday, April 8. The Patriots enter the contest with a record of 5-8. Faith Christian won 12-2 in their recent league contest against Harrells Christian Academy (Harrells, NC)

The Rams now hold a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to Northeast Academy for a NCISAA Tarheel contest on Monday, April 7.
