The Northwest Mounties got by the visiting Hanover-Horton Comets softball squad by a count of 1-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Mounties meet the Lumen Christi Catholic Titans (Jackson, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, April 7. Northwest will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Titans go into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 9-3 league win over Bishop Foley (Madison Heights, MI).

The Comets (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against East Jackson (Jackson, MI). The Trojans go into the Cascades challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, East Jackson was nudged by Springport (Springport, MI), 10-0, in a non-league challenge.
