California High School Softball - Valencia sneaks past Katella

April 4, 2025: Placentia, CA 92870

The Valencia Tigers softball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Katella Knights to 8 in the Tigers league win on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Troy for a non-league battle on Monday, April 7. Valencia will confront a Warriors team coming off a 12-6 league loss to Brea Olinda (Brea, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 5-9.

With the loss, Katella moves to 6-8 on the season. The Knights host Anaheim (Anaheim, CA) to confront the Colonists in a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 8. The Colonists come into the battle with a record of 12-1. Anaheim won 13-0 in their recent league battle against Savanna (Anaheim, CA)
