Mississippi High School Softball - McLaurin bounces Kemper County
April 4, 2025: DeKalb, MS 39328 The crowd at Friday's league bout between the McLaurin Tigers (Florence, MS) and the host Kemper County Wildcats (DeKalb, MS), observed McLaurin's softball team prevail over Kemper County by a tally of 15-0.
The Tigers (4-9) will now prepare for their bout against Laurel (Laurel, MS). The Golden Tornadoes go into the non-league bout with a 2-10 record. In their last bout, Laurel was routed by Perry Central (New Augusta, MS), 19-6, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the West Lowndes Panthers (Columbus, MS) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, April 10. Kemper County will attempt to advance on its 1-9 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 3-9 record after their 13-12 non-league win over Aberdeen (Aberdeen, MS).
