The Tiverton Tigers softball team scored 12 runs and held the host Lincoln Lions to 8 in the Tigers non-league win on Friday.

The Tigers now possess a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Middletown for a Division 3 battle on Monday, April 7. Tiverton will confront a Islanders team coming off a 21-0 league win over Paul Cuffee (Providence, RI). The Islanders record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Lincoln moves to 0-1 on the season. The Lions host West Warwick (West Warwick, RI) to confront the Wizards in a Division 2 battle on Monday, April 7. The Wizards come into the battle with a record of 0-0.
