South Carolina High School Softball - Woodmont bounces Mauldin
April 4, 2025: Piedmont, SC 29673 In Friday's league match, the host Woodmont Wildcats softball team scored a nice 11-1 win over the Mauldin Mavericks.
The Wildcats (11-4) will now prepare for their match against Hillcrest (Simpsonville, SC). The Rams come into the AAAAA Region 1 match with a 7-8 record. In their last match, Hillcrest notched a victory over Greenville (Greenville, SC), 6-2, in a league match.
In their next game, the Mavericks confront the J.L. Mann Patriots (Greenville, SC) in a AAAAA Region 1 match, on Tuesday, April 8. Mauldin will attempt to better on its 0-8 season record. The Patriots come into the match with a 0-12 record after their 10-0 league loss to Greenwood (Greenwood, SC).
