New Jersey High School Softball - West Orange bounces North Bergen
April 4, 2025: North Bergen, NJ 07047 The West Orange Mountaineers softball team scored 19 runs and held the host North Bergen Bruins to 4 in the Mountaineers non-league win on Friday.
The Mountaineers now possess a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hoboken for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 5. West Orange will confront a Redwings team coming off a 9-0 league win over Hudson Catholic (Jersey City, NJ). The Redwings record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, North Bergen moves to 0-3 on the season. The Bruins host St. Dominic Academy (Jersey City, NJ) to confront the Blue Devils in a non-league battle on Saturday, April 5. The Blue Devils come into the battle with a record of 2-0. St. Dominic Academy won 19-4 in their recent league battle against University Academy Charter (Jersey City, NJ)
