Notre Dame-Green Pond Crusaders (Easton, PA) supporters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Saucon Valley Panthers (Hellertown, PA), 12-2 in a league game.

With the triumph, Notre Dame-Green Pond improves its record to 7-0 on the year. The Crusaders travel to Nazareth Area (Nazareth, PA) to face the Blue Eagles in a non-league game on Saturday, April 5. The Blue Eagles enter the game with a record of 5-1. Nazareth Area won 17-0 in their recent league game against William Allen (Allentown, PA)

The Panthers now hold a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Wilson Area for a Colonial - East game on Tuesday, April 8. Saucon Valley will face a Warriors squad coming off a 12-0 non-league win over Catasauqua (Catasauqua, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 6-4.
