Hazleton Area Cougars (Hazleton, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Crestwood Comets (Mountain Top, PA), 15-5 in a league test.

With the win, Hazleton Area upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Cougars host Tunkhannock (Tunkhannock, PA) to battle the Tigers in a Wyoming Valley 1 test on Thursday, April 7. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 0-1. Tunkhannock lost 5-4 in their recent league test against Wilkes-Barre (Wilkes-Barre, PA)

With the defeat, Crestwood falls to 1-1 on the season. The Comets host Pittston (Pittston, PA) to battle the Patriots in a Wyoming Valley 1 test on Wednesday, April 6. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 2-1. Pittston won 11-1 in their recent league test against Wyoming Valley West (Plymouth, PA)
