New York High School Baseball - Yorktown defeats Normandy
April 5, 2023: Yorktown Heights, NY 10598 Yorktown Huskers (Yorktown Heights, NY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Normandy Invaders (Parma, OH), 8-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Yorktown upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Huskers host Arlington (LaGrangeville, NY) to battle the Admirals in a non-league test on Saturday, April 8. The Admirals come into the test with a record of 2-2. Arlington lost 8-0 in their recent non-league test against Walter Panas (Cortlandt Manor, NY)
With the defeat, Normandy falls to 0-4 on the season. The Invaders host Woodford County (Versailles, KY) to battle the Yellowjackets in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 5. The Yellowjackets come into the test with a record of 3-2. Woodford County lost 5-3 in their recent non-league test against West Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY)
