South Carolina High School Baseball - Hanahan defeats Berkeley
April 5, 2024: Hanahan, SC 29410 Spectators at Friday's non-league battle between the Hanahan Hawks (Hanahan, SC) and the visiting Berkeley Stags (Moncks Corner, SC), saw Hanahan's baseball squad knock off Berkeley by a count of 12-5.
Coming up next, the Hawks play the Philip Simmons Iron Horses (Charleston, SC) in a 3A Region 8 battle, on Tuesday, April 9. Hanahan will attempt to move on its 19-1 season record. The Iron Horses enter the battle with a 11-7 record after their 9-4 non-league loss to Greenbrier Christian Academy (Chesapeake, VA).
The Stags now possess a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they host Ashley Ridge for a non-league battle on Monday, April 8. Berkeley will play a Swamp Foxes squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Hickory Grove Christian (Charlotte, NC). The Swamp Foxes record now stands at 1-4.
