Bishop McGuinness Fighting Irish (Oklahoma City, OK) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Bethany Bronchos (Bethany, OK), 9-8 in a non-league test.

With the win, Bishop McGuinness upgrades its record to 13-7 on the season. The Fighting Irish travel to Woodward (Woodward, OK) to battle the Boomers in a 4A District 5 test on Monday, April 8. The Boomers come into the test with a record of 10-14. Woodward lost 8-0 in their recent non-league test against Chisholm (Enid, OK)

With the defeat, Bethany falls to 12-8 on the season. The Bronchos host Seminole (Seminole, OK) to battle the Chieftains in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 9. The Chieftains come into the test with a record of 7-9. Seminole lost 7-2 in their recent non-league test against Chandler (Chandler, OK)
