April 5, 2024: Warner Robins, GA 31088 The Houston County Bears baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Locust Grove Wildcats to 1 in the Bears non-league victory on Friday.
The Bears (19-6) will now prepare for their match against Lee County (Leesburg, GA). The Trojans go into the 6A Area 1 match with a 15-9 record. In their last match, Lee County gained a win over Mundy's Mill (Jonesboro, GA), 12-9, in a non-league match.
The Wildcats (15-9) will now prepare for their match against Newton (Covington, GA). The Rams go into the non-league match with a 7-15 record. In their last match, Newton was overwhelmed by Union Grove (McDonough, GA), 14-12, in a non-league match.
