April 5, 2024: Lawton, OK 73501 Spectators at Friday's non-league battle between the MacArthur Highlanders (Lawton, OK) and the visiting Lawton Wolverines (Lawton, OK), saw MacArthur's baseball squad beat Lawton by a margin of 12-0.
Coming up next, the Highlanders play the Altus Bulldogs (Altus, OK) in a 5A District 2 battle, on Saturday, April 6. MacArthur will attempt to better on its 11-9 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 9-11 record after their 11-4 non-league win over Eisenhower (Lawton, OK).
The Wolverines now sport a 3-20 record. They take the field next when they travel to Eisenhower for a 6A District 2 battle on Saturday, April 6. Lawton will play a Eagles squad coming off a 11-4 non-league loss to Altus (Altus, OK). The Eagles record now stands at 11-10.
