North Carolina High School Baseball - Trinity loses to Union Pines
April 5, 2024: Cameron, NC 28326 The Union Pines Vikings crushed the visiting Trinity Bulldogs baseball team by a count of 11-5 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Vikings now possess a 5-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hoke County for a Sandhills 3A/4A bout on Tuesday, April 9. Union Pines will face a Bucks team coming off a 9-3 non-league loss to Heide Trask (Rocky Point, NC). The Bucks record now stands at 2-14.
Next, the Bulldogs face the Carrboro Jaguars (Carrboro, NC) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, April 6. Trinity will attempt to move on its 6-9 season record. The Jaguars enter the bout with a 5-5 record after their 16-2 league win over Vance County (Henderson, NC).
