April 5, 2024: Durham, NC 27705 Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill Lion (Durham, NC) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Friendship Christian Falcons (Raleigh, NC), 2-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Lion face the Neuse Christian Academy Lions (Raleigh, NC) in a NCISAA Raleigh challenge, on Tuesday, April 9. Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record. The Lions enter the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 7-0 non-league win over Raleigh Christian Academy (Raleigh, NC).
The Falcons now have a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they host St. Thomas More Academy for a NCISAA Raleigh challenge on Tuesday, April 9. Friendship Christian will face a Chancellors team coming off a 9-0 non-league win over American Leadership Academy-Johnston (Clayton, NC). The Chancellors record now stands at 5-3.
