April 5, 2024: Charleston, SC 29412 The James Island Trojans soccer team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Porter-Gaud Cyclones to 1 in the Trojans non-league victory on Friday.
Next, the Trojans face the May River Sharks (Bluffton, SC) in a AAAA Region 7 contest, on Tuesday, April 9. James Island will attempt to better on its 7-4 season record.
The Cyclones now have a 5-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hammond for a non-league contest on Tuesday, April 9. Porter-Gaud will face a Skyhawks team coming off a 4-3 league win over Ben Lippen (Columbia, SC). The Skyhawks record now stands at 2-4.
