The Hawks now sport a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Kennedy for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 9. Jefferson will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Johnston (Johnston, IA). The Cougars record now stands at 1-3.
With the loss, West Liberty drops to 2-2 on the season. The Comets travel to Cascade (Cascade, IA) to meet the Cougars in a River Valley test on Monday, April 8. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 2-1.
