The Arcola Purple Riders the host Martinsville Bluestreaks softball squad by a final score of 9-7 in Friday's non-league battle.

The Purple Riders (2-5) will now prepare for their battle against Okaw Valley (Bethany, IL). The Timberwolves go into the Lincoln Prairie battle with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, Okaw Valley by Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg (Windsor, IL), 18-1, in a non-league battle.

The Bluestreaks now possess a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Blue Ridge for a non-league battle on Wednesday, April 10.
