Virginia High School Softball - Battlefield bounces Osbourn
April 5, 2024: Manassas, VA 20110 Battlefield Bobcats (Haymarket, VA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Osbourn Eagles (Manassas, VA), 9-2 in a league challenge.
The Bobcats now own a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host Patriot for a Cedar Run challenge on Tuesday, April 9. Battlefield will battle a Pioneers squad coming off a 8-1 non-league loss to Mountain View (Stafford, VA). The Pioneers record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, Osbourn falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Unity Reed (Manassas, VA) to meet the Lions in a Cedar Run match on Monday, April 8. The Lions go into the match with a record of 1-2. Unity Reed lost 14-0 in their recent league match against Osbourn Park (Manassas, VA)
