California High School Softball - Coalinga bounces King City
April 5, 2024: Coalinga, CA 93210 Coalinga Horned Toads (Coalinga, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting King City Mustangs (King City, CA), 15-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Horned Toads now own a 9-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dos Palos for a West Sierra challenge on Tuesday, April 9. Coalinga will face a Broncos squad coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to Chowchilla (Chowchilla, CA). The Broncos record now stands at 2-7.
With the loss, King City falls to 10-5 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Carmel (Carmel, CA) to face the Padres in a PCAL - Mission challenge on Monday, April 8. The Padres enter the challenge with a record of 7-6. Carmel won 16-4 in their recent league challenge against Gonzales (Gonzales, CA)
