The Bishop O'Dowd Dragons (Oakland, CA) baseball got by the visiting Saint Mary's Panthers (Albany, CA), 8-7 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

The Dragons now own a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Berkeley for a West Alameda County - Foothill challenge on Tuesday, April 8. Bishop O'Dowd will clash with a Yellowjackets team coming off a 10-1 non-league loss to Acalanes (Lafayette, CA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 6-7.

With the defeat, Saint Mary's drops to 2-9 on the year. The Panthers travel to Albany (Albany, CA) to clash with the Cougars in a Tri-County - Rock challenge on Wednesday, April 9.
