April 5, 2025: La Grande, OR 97850 The La Grande Tigers baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Tillamook Cheesemakers to 5 in the Tigers non-league win on Saturday.
The Tigers now own a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host Baker/Powder Valley for a 4A Greater Oregon test on Tuesday, April 8. La Grande will face a Bulldogs team coming off a 6-1 non-league win over Vale (Vale, OR). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-1.
Next, the Cheesemakers face the St. Helens Lions (St. Helens, OR) in a 4A Cowapa game, on Tuesday, April 8. Tillamook will attempt to improve on its 7-2 season record. The Lions enter the game with a 3-4 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to Stayton (Stayton, OR).
