The Middle Creek Mustangs baseball squad (Apex, NC), was overwhelmed 7-1 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host Wake Forest Cougars (Wake Forest, NC)

With the triumph, Wake Forest moves its record to 11-4 on the season. The Cougars travel to Heritage (Wake Forest, NC) to confront the Huskies in a Northern Athletic 4A contest on Tuesday, April 8. The Huskies come into the contest with a record of 8-8. Heritage won 9-6 in their recent non-league test against Orange (Hillsborough, NC)
