Alabama High School Baseball - Pleasant Grove loses to Oneonta
April 5, 2025: Oneonta, AL 35121 Oneonta Redskins (Oneonta, AL) fans left the game pleased Saturday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Pleasant Grove Spartans (Pleasant Grove, AL), 17-2 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Oneonta advances its record to 20-8 on the season. The Redskins host Wilson (Florence, AL) to battle the Warriors in a non-league match on Saturday, April 5. The Warriors come into the match with a record of 9-18. Wilson lost 5-0 in their recent non-league match against Clements (Athens, AL)
The Spartans now have a 8-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oak Grove for a 4A Area 7 match on Tuesday, April 8. Pleasant Grove will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Tuscaloosa Academy (Tuscaloosa, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 21-2.
