In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Pomperaug Panthers volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Wolcott RVT Wildcats.

The Panthers (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Brookfield (Brookfield, CT). The Bobcats enter the South-West challenge with a 0-0 record.
