Oklahoma High School Soccer - Guthrie knocks off New Hope
April 5, 2025: Guthrie, OK 73044 The Guthrie Bluejays soccer squad scored 4 points and held the visiting New Hope Indians to 1 in the Bluejays non-league victory on Saturday.
The Bluejays now hold a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to El Reno for a 5A District 2 bout on Tuesday, April 8. Guthrie will play a Indians squad coming off a 5-0 league win over Classen SAS (Oklahoma City, OK). The Indians record now stands at 3-4.
With the loss, New Hope moves to 14-7 on the year. The Indians travel to Pennington (Blountsville, AL) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Thursday, April 10. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 0-10. Pennington lost 8-2 in their recent non-league bout against Brewer (Somerville, AL)
