Illinois High School Soccer - Winnebago toppled by Richmond-Burton
April 5, 2025: Richmond, IL 60071 Richmond-Burton Rockets (Richmond, IL) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Winnebago Indians (Winnebago, IL), 7-2 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Richmond-Burton advances its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Marian Central Catholic (Woodstock, IL) to clash with the Hurricanes in a non-league test on Monday, April 7. The Hurricanes come into the test with a record of 0-2. Marian Central Catholic lost 4-1 in their recent non-league test against Grant Community (Fox Lake, IL)
The Indians now have a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rockford Christian for a Big Northern test on Tuesday, April 8. Winnebago will clash with a Royal Lions team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Rockford Auburn (Rockford, IL). The Royal Lions record now stands at 3-0.
