California High School Baseball - Alisal defeats Monterey
April 5, 2025: Monterey, CA 93940 The Alisal Trojans baseball team scored 7 runs and held the host Monterey Dores to 2 in the Trojans non-league win on Saturday.
The Trojans now hold a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Stevenson for a test on Wednesday, April 9. Alisal will play a Pirates team coming off a 13-4 league loss to North Monterey County (Castroville, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 0-4.
With the defeat, Monterey drops to 1-9 on the year. The Dores travel to Soledad (Soledad, CA) to play the Aztecs in a test on Tuesday, April 8. The Aztecs go into the test with a record of 3-6. Soledad won 10-9 in their recent non-league test against King City (King City, CA)
