April 5, 2025: Mentor, OH 44060 The Lake Catholic Cougars (Mentor, OH) baseball trounced the visiting South Rebels (Willoughby, OH), 11-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Cougars now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Holy Name for a challenge on Wednesday, April 9. Lake Catholic will clash with a Green Wave team coming off a 6-4 non-league loss to North Royalton (North Royalton, OH). The Green Wave record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, South drops to 0-1 on the year. The Rebels travel to Kenston (Chagrin Falls, OH) to clash with the Bombers in a challenge on Wednesday, April 9. The Bombers go into the challenge with a record of 1-2. Kenston lost 15-10 in their recent non-league challenge against Mentor (Mentor, OH)
