In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Williamsville North Spartans softball team scored a nice 24-0 win over the Lockport Lions.

The Spartans (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Sweet Home (Amherst, NY). The Panthers come into the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Sweet Home notched a victory over Amherst Central (Amherst, NY), 25-2, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Lions battle the North Tonawanda Lumberjacks (North Tonawanda, NY) in a non-league match, on Monday, April 7. Lockport will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
