The George Washington Patriots (Charleston, WV) lacrosse routed the visiting The Linsly School Cadets (Wheeling, WV), 9-1 in Saturday's league outing.

The Patriots now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Buckhannon-Upshur for a non-league outing on Tuesday, April 8. George Washington will face a Buccaneers squad coming off a 17-5 non-league loss to Fairmont Senior (Fairmont, WV). The Buccaneers record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, The Linsly School falls to 2-4 on the year. The Cadets host Wheeling Central Catholic (Wheeling, WV) to face the Maroon Knights in a WVSLA -DI West outing on Tuesday, April 8.
