New York High School Lacrosse - Kellenberg Memorial nips Ludlowe
April 5, 2025: Uniondale, NY 11553 In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Kellenberg Memorial Firebirds lacrosse squad scored a tight 8-7 triumph over the Ludlowe Falcons.
The Firebirds (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Iona Prep (New Rochelle, NY). The Gaels go into the Catholic - Island challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Iona Prep held off Fordham Prep (Bronx, NY), 14-3, in a league challenge.
Next, the Falcons clash with the Trumbull Eagles (Trumbull, CT) in a Fairfield County challenge, on Thursday, April 10. Ludlowe will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Eagles go into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 10-5 non-league loss to Hand (Madison, CT).
