Iowa High School Soccer - Grundy Center knocks off South Tama County
April 5, 2025: Grundy Center, IA 50638 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Grundy Center Spartans (Grundy Center, IA) and the visiting South Tama County Trojans (Tama, IA), saw Grundy Center's soccer squad prevail over South Tama County by a count of 7-3.
The Spartans (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against North Fayette Valley (West Union, IA). The enter the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, North Fayette Valley tipped Vinton-Shellsburg (Vinton, IA), 5-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Trojans battle the Marion Wolves (Marion, IA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, April 7. South Tama County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Wolves enter the battle with a 0-1 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Xavier (Cedar Rapids, IA).
