Iowa High School Soccer - South Tama County toppled by Marshalltown
April 5, 2025: Marshalltown, IA 50158 Marshalltown Bobcats (Marshalltown, IA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting South Tama County Trojans (Tama, IA), 7-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Marshalltown moves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Roosevelt (Des Moines, IA) to clash with the Roughriders in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 8. The Roughriders come into the test with a record of 1-0. Roosevelt won 5-3 in their recent non-league test against Bettendorf (Bettendorf, IA)
The Trojans now sport a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they host Marion for a non-league test on Monday, April 7. South Tama County will clash with a Wolves team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Xavier (Cedar Rapids, IA). The Wolves record now stands at 0-1.
