In Saturday's non-league match, the host Airport Jets softball team scored a tight 3-2 win over the Saline Hornets.

The Jets (1-1) will now prepare for their match against St. Mary Catholic Central (Monroe, MI). The Falcons/Kestrels come into the Huron match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, St. Mary Catholic Central nipped Ida (Ida, MI), 10-2, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Hornets battle the Pioneer Pioneers (Ann Arbor, MI) in a Southeastern - Red match, on Monday, April 7. Saline will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record.
