April 5, 2025: New Orleans, LA 70124 In Saturday's non-league test, the Catholic of Pointe Coupee Hornets (New Roads, LA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Mt. Carmel Cubs (New Orleans, LA), by a tally of 9-4.
Next, the Hornets meet the St. John Eagles (Plaquemine, LA) in a non-league test, on Monday, April 7. Catholic of Pointe Coupee will attempt to advance on its 19-10 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 19-4 record after their 9-6 non-league loss to Breaux Bridge (Breaux Bridge, LA).
The Cubs (14-8) will now prepare for their test against Vandebilt Catholic (Houma, LA). The Terriers go into the non-league test with a 20-2 record. In their last test, Vandebilt Catholic held off Houma Christian (Houma, LA), 10-0, in a non-league test.
