Meridian Warriors (Meridian, ID) supporters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Sitka Wolves (Sitka, AK), 16-3 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Meridian improves its record to 7-4 on the year. The Warriors travel to Kuna (Kuna, ID) to play the Kavemen in a 6A Southern Idaho game on Tuesday, April 8. The Kavemen enter the game with a record of 6-8. Kuna lost 9-5 in their recent league game against Mountain View (Meridian, ID)

The Wolves now hold a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Juneau-Douglas for a non-league game on Friday, April 11.
