Illinois High School Baseball - Sandburg loses to Andrew
April 6, 2023: Tinley Park, IL 60477 The Andrew Thunderbolts crushed the visiting Sandburg Eagles baseball team by a count of 11-1 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Thunderbolts now possess a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Homewood-Flossmoor for a Southwest Suburban - Red bout on Monday, April 10. Andrew will face a Vikings team coming off a 14-2 non-league loss to Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 6-6.
Next, the Eagles face the Thornwood Thunderbirds (South Holland, IL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, April 7. Sandburg will attempt to move on its 7-2 season record. The Thunderbirds enter the bout with a 2-3 record after their 12-2 league win over Kankakee (Kankakee, IL).
