The Union County Patriots baseball team (Liberty, IN), 3-1 in Thursday's non-league outing with the host Blue River Valley Vikings (Mt. Summit, IN)

The Vikings now hold a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cambridge City Lincoln for a non-league outing on Saturday, April 8. Blue River Valley will confront a Golden Eagles team coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Anderson (Anderson, IN). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 1-2.

Next, the Patriots confront the Winchester Community Golden Falcons (Winchester, IN) in a Tri-Eastern outing, on Saturday, April 8. Union County will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Golden Falcons go into the outing with a 2-0 record after their 4-3 non-league win over South Adams (Berne, IN).
