Michigan High School Baseball - Chelsea nips Northwest
April 6, 2023: Jackson, MI 49201 Chelsea Bulldogs (Chelsea, MI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Northwest Mounties (Jackson, MI), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Chelsea upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Airport (Carleton, MI) to battle the Jets in a non-league test on Saturday, April 8. The Jets come into the test with a record of 3-0. Airport won 9-2 in their recent non-league test against Taylor (Taylor, MI)
With the defeat, Northwest falls to 0-1 on the season. The Mounties host Marshall (Marshall, MI) to battle the Redhawks in a Interstate 8 test on Thursday, April 13. The Redhawks come into the test with a record of 2-2. Marshall lost 10-3 in their recent non-league test against Kalamazoo Central (Kalamazoo, MI)
