In Thursday's non-league challenge, the Monroe Central Golden Bears (Parker City, IN) baseball squad edged the visiting Eastbrook Panthers (Marion, IN), by a final score of 6-5.

With the win, Monroe Central upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Golden Bears travel to Alexandria-Monroe (Alexandria, IN) to battle the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 8. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 3-4.
