Spectators at Thursday's non-league battle between the Mountain Crest Mustangs (Hyrum, UT) and the host Lincoln Hornets (San Diego, CA), saw Mountain Crest's baseball squad knock off Lincoln by a count of 7-3.

Coming up next, the Mustangs play the Ridgeline Riverhawks (Millville, UT) in a 4A Region 11 battle, on Monday, April 10. Mountain Crest will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record. The Riverhawks enter the battle with a 3-4 record after their 10-2 non-league loss to Stansbury (Stansbury Park, UT).
